offers an ideal base to explore the Sooke area. Historic Burnside House
is the oldest inhabited home as well as the longest established B&B in
Sooke. Built by the Muir family in 1870 it has been lovingly restored.
We offer comfortable accommodation. Your choice of four rooms. Some with
water and mountain views. Queen and single beds. Private Bath. Hot tub
on premises. "We take breakfast seriously", a full gourmet breakfast
is included with your stay. We accommodate vegetarian and special allergy
Sooke has it all; mild climate, golfing, swimming, hiking trails, trout filled lakes, and salmon fishing. Watch for whales and seals from our beaches. Discover our local arts and crafts stores. Dine at the world famous Sooke Harbour House.
We can prepare an absolutely delightful picnic lunch for your
enjoyment while fishing, hiking or mountain biking.
Sooke is located 23 scenic miles (32km) west of Victoria.
Follow Highway 1 to Sooke turnoff (Highway 14).
We are 1/3 mile past Sooke Village.
If you require transportation, we will gladly pick you up,
from the Victoria Airport, Ferry Terminal, or downtown Victoria.
Due to rising fuel costs, there will be a fee for pickup.
